RE: Dispute of Inaccurate Tradelines
To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing to dispute the following information in my credit file. I have circled the specific items on the attached copy of the report you provided.
Item 1: Financial Center First Credit Union (Account #[PARTIAL])
This item is inaccurate. The creditor is reporting this account as “Active” with a “Past Due” balance accumulating monthly.
Facts:
- This account was subject to a foreclosure judgment on [DATE] (Case # 49D03-2501-MF-002559).
- The property was sold at Sheriff Sale on [DATE].
- There is no active contract permitting the accumulation of new monthly “late” fees or status updates post-judgment.
- Reporting this as a current revolving/installment delinquency is materially false.
Request: Please reinvestigate this matter with the furnisher. I demand that you delete the post-judgment “late” history and correct the balance to $0 or “Foreclosure/Closed” status immediately. If the furnisher verifies this information, I demand you request the method of verification and provide it to me.
Enclosed Documentation
- Copy of TransUnion Report showing the error.
- Copy of the Court Docket/Judgment proving the case status.
I expect the results of your reinvestigation within 30 days.
Sincerely,
Cody Rice-Velasquez
