SUMMARY – WHAT THEY’VE DONE & WHY IT MATTERS
Case Update: December 21, 2025
The bank and sheriff removed Cody and Zai using a judgment that likely should never have existed. After removing them, their actions caused significant new damage.
KEY ACTIONS SINCE REMOVAL:
- Utility Overbilling: They kept utilities in Cody’s name and are running up the bill (heat/lights) while he is locked out.
- Negligence: They left property doors open in freezing weather, causing pipes to freeze and burst.
- Property Destruction: Water from burst pipes caused standing water and visible mold on the walls.
- Personal Property Loss: They unplugged a mini-fridge (a sentimental gift), causing it to become contaminated with mold and making it a total loss.
- Interference: They snooped through cabinets and hidden wires to manually unplug cameras and desk equipment.
- Denied Access: They won’t provide keys or access, meaning Cody can’t fix or stop the damage.
ESTIMATED DAMAGES (WHAT THEY OWE):
| Category | Estimated Value |
|---|---|
| Direct Financial Loss | 33,000 |
| Housing & Displacement Costs | 31,000 |
| Emotional & Disability Harm | 60,000 |
| TOTAL ESTIMATED VALUE | 90,000+ |
THE BOTTOM LINE:
This is no longer “just a foreclosure.” Because they were sloppy and reckless after taking the house, they have created a whole new set of legal problems for themselves. We are documenting everything for the hearing on January 9.
